I love flowers, but when it came to the exact flowers I wanted for the wedding, I was clueless. I knew I wanted whites, creams and blues. Oh… and they needed to be naturally arranged as opposed to being symmetric and modern. And pretty…. really really pretty. Thank goodness my florist (Kim England) read through my wants and used her creativity to deliver exactly what I had hoped for!

Hello everyone! I got back from Seattle at 6 am this morning, and I’m still a little tired from all the wedding festivities and because I trambiened (travelling while on ambien). I had a great time and the experience really opened my eyes as to how you can have a nice wedding on a budget. Lots of stories to come soon. Meanwhile I’ll be at The Wedding Salon’s bridal event this evening with Miss Caterpillar. Do say hello if you see us!

I’ve officially got everything ready to finalize my invitations! I’ve had the invitation cover designs finalized for quite awhile, but the paper and envelope decisions were made just recently when I finally bit down and pressed the ORDER button.Here’s a peek at the components:
(from L-R) I’ve got my gold fabric, invitation backing with gold Stardream cardstock, blue pocket envelope & Paper Source LUXE Cream 210g weight paper & gold 4-bar Stardream envelope, and finally a sample of gold gocco ink on the paper (my Merci! thank you notes I made long ago).Now I just need to get Mr. Lemon on my glueing crew and we’ll have invitations in no time!
