I am a big Jackie Kennedy fan. I began reading about her in high school and I slowly began building a collection of Jackie biographies in university. Here

Remember the sash that I crafted for myself? The one with the single white flower, in all its simplicity?
Yeah… that one.Well I was completely happy with that sash. Until I saw this:

“i can’t believe you have icons for bloggers who don’t exist yet, but not for ms spider. poor thing.”
It’s kind of become a running joke that Miss Spider doesn’t have a character. Mrs. Ladybug and Miss Spider even challenged each other to a spider drawing contest to see who could come up with the better looking spider. But Miss Spider knows that I love her.
So what’s going on with Miss Spider’s character???Our artist created many, many drafts and had the hardest time making the spider “cute,” and within the same style of the other characters. At one point, I even asked Miss Spider if she wanted to switch characters to which she replied,
“NOOOOOOOOOO, i wanna be miss SPIDER~!”
So this is the latest rendition. What do you think?
This was a previous rendition that BTang is talking about in the comments…
And yet another version before that:![]()

I’m not going to post a full picture because I look weird and I haven’t shaved my legs hahah – I got home from work and tried on the dress!

I’m so mad though! After I placed my order, Nordstrom emailed me to tell me that they were “out” of the dress in all sizes, so instead of 4, I received 3 BM dresses. What am I going to do with just 3?! URGGGG! Somebody please help me! I need a 4th dress! Now, I’m searching for some shoes for the BMs. I wore my b-day present from my FI a year ago with the bridesmaid dress.
Does anyone know where I can find something similar but with a much cheaper price point for my BM’s? (I am not a baller haha and thus, cannot afford to buy Jimmy Choos for all my BM’s.

After narrowing down a few ideas for the bridesmaids’ dresses, I decided I was in love with the simplicity of the Alfred Sung D446 on the Dessy website, which is the dress on the right.
I called up every store in MA and RI that carries Alfred Sung. At the time, the spring collection just came out and I could only find one store that carried the D446. So I booked an appointment at Flair Bridesmaids.Well, apparently I know nothing about fabrics.I had decided early on that I want the girls in a casual and comfortable fabric, nothing with a shine (I have it stuck in my head that shine equals fancy). So when I got to Flair I was surprised to find out that the D446 only comes in a shiny fabric called Dupioni. If I had clicked on the swatch on the website, I would have easily realized that this was a fancy fabric. When I looked through the store, it seemed like everything was in fancy fabrics. But I explained to my consultant, Leah, the vibe and feel I was looking for: a bit casual, navy cocktail length, something that looks very “Newportish”.
Leah came up with a few options, some shiny, some not. I had Sister Starfish act as a model and try on quite a few dresses. I ended up liking a few, but the one I loved was a dress by Coren Moore. It is absolutely perfect! The Starfish girls will be wearing the Coren Moore “Courtney” dress in cotton sateen. To have my MOH, Sister Starfish, stand out a bit she
It will be a while before we have our final photos back from Piknik Studios, but in the meantime I have a few more teaser photos for you! Click on each to see the photo larger…
