The New York Junior League is hosting their 11th Annual Wedding Affair tomorrow from 10 am to 5 pm. The event will feature workshops throughout the day with various wedding industry experts. Tickets are $60 at the door, and all proceeds benefit the charitable activities of the Junior League.
Kathlin Argiro will be showcasing her new Spring 2007 collection at the event. If you place a bridesmaid dress order by May 15th, you’ll receive 15% off the entire order. And if you schedule an appointment in their new showroom by March 30th, you’ll receive 15% off any ready-to-wear dress (her dresses are great for rehearsal dinners and bridal showers!)The Wedding Library has the new Amsale bridesmaid collection in, which you can see by appointment today and tomorrow by calling 212-327-0100. No appointments are necessary from 5:00 – 6:30pm tomorrow after the Junior League wedding event. Here we are a little over three months out and it has finally happened. After planning for months and months I have finally hit a full blown wedding roadblock. … Argh… I was supposed to have flowers settled by now. So far, I’ve only met with one florist – Kampo Floral Design – but their estimate came in a bit high, and I feel like the centerpieces would be a bit small. Bigger ones would, of course, cost mo money. I just discovered Antheia florist in Jersey City. The flowers on the website are beautiful and the prices seem half-way decent. As you can tell, I like white and green but I’m also thinking of going with peach or possibly periwinkle… and I love texture.
