I’m not sure if this is where the bride purchased them, but eyelet parasols are available from the vendor below. They look like the same ones!

SO happy that Jeremy sent these over. Every now and then, it’s just nice to kick back and get lost in beautiful photographs. These do the trick perfectly. More on the way!

Stunning!

The incredible bracelet is by Mucklows Fine Jewelry and I am smitten. It’s the perfect gold bracelet that would look beautiful with just about any gown (or pair of jeans for that matter). The stunning florals were all designed by Virtu, and the absolutely beautiful gowns are all designed by Etain and Morgan Boszilkov. Hair was done by Caprice Green and make-up by Lay’Na Anderson.

Jeremy Harwell, a really great photographer out of Atlanta, recently sent me these images from a fashion shoot that he and fellow photographer Kyle Egan recently did…and they are brilliant.

Harwell Photography is a member of our Little Black Book. For more information on how members are chosen, click here.

The photos were shot on the bride’s ranch in Woodside,Wedding Accessories, California and a nearby laundry mat. The couple was willing to have fun and do a little role-playing and the results were fantastic!  You can see more on their blog.

First off I have to share there are so many more cute photos from this engagement session over at Kim & Niki’s blog. That I know you will super LOVE. On that note I also wanted to suggest if you love and e session print out the photos of your favorite poses and share them with your photographer.

Thank you for sticking around to see the rest of Meg & Matthew’s wedding. They where married at Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada in Thousand Oaks, Ca. Looks like a great rustic outdoor venue. You get 50 year-old walnut tree, oak barrels and gentle ocean breezes from the west. It looks and sounds quite lovely. I am going to let Meg share the rest of her details with you below.

A special thanks to Duston Todd Photograhpy for sharing this special wedding with us.

From The Bride: For my center pieces I accomplished that by using milk and mason jars that my husband and I hunted down at Thrit Stores. Inside them we put different flowers such as chamomile, daisies, and crespedia a.k.a “buttons”. We also put in blueberry jelly bellys,Wedding Accessories, candles and I wanted to put honey in some jars but it is obviously expensive and actually isn’t as yellow as I thought, so I put apple juice as a substitute. For our “sign in book” we decided to use a sign in tree. My florist made a miniature tree and put it in a pot. Instead of using? a sign in book, I had guests write a message or just even their names on a little tag and then hang it on a branch.

Items That Can Make Your Wedding More Perfect Every couple would like to make their weddings the most perfect one. In fact the success of a wedding lies on a good and systematic planning. However, most couples will make a serious mistake that they would like to put every idea and item in their minds into their weddings.

You may have plenty of different ideas for your wedding. However, more ideas and items does not necessarily mean a better or a more successful wedding. As all designers will agree, too many ideas will just ruin a perfect design. This is also true for your wedding. Instead of putting all the ideas and items you can think of into your wedding. You should grab the most essential items and this will be good enough for you to make your wedding a great success.

You will certainly hire a photographer to take the wedding photos. We have to admit that every photographer will have different styles. There is nothing wrong about that. However, some couples will just pay their attention to the standard and formal photos the photographer will take. Indeed you may just miss the point if you only pay attention to the formal photos.

It will be more interesting if you can hire one more photographer to take snap-shots. From my point of view, snap-shots should look more natural. The photographer should be able to capture the little details of your wedding and you will certainly find the snap-shots are capturing every happy and memorable moments in your wedding.

In your wedding reception, you may need a master of ceremonies. Some couples will just ask their friends to take the job. However, even the most talkative person may not perform well on the stage. Your reception will become boring if the master of ceremonies is not professional enough.

In fact your reception should be somehow similar to a social event. There is no point to get a person who may not perform well to be the master of ceremonies. As a result, it is strongly suggested that you hire a professional master of ceremonies for your wedding reception, instead of asking the help from your friends and relatives.

You will need some music in your reception. With the music the atmosphere of your reception can be heated up. Some couples will just choose some songs and have them played using the CD or DVD players. However, in order to heat up the atmosphere, you will need live music. It will be better if you can hire a live band in your wedding reception.

If you would like to make your reception like a royal event, you can hire a classical band, a band of say four musicians will be good enough. However, if you would like all your guests to stand up and dance, you may need to hire wedding DJs instead. If you are going to hire a classical band, you should try to arrange some live demo before they really perform in your wedding reception. On the other hand, if you are going to hire wedding DJs, you should ask for every detail such as the songs they will play and the equipments they will use.

Popular Colors for a Spring Wedding Bridesmaid Dress Spring is a season of new life and new beginnings so it is only natural for spring and weddings to go hand in hand. While the bride will most likely be looking her best in the traditional white dress, her bridesmaids can wear the hottest colors of the season. To find out which are the most popular colors for a spring wedding bridesmaid dress, one only has to look to nature to see what is in bloom.

Sea and Sky

Gone are those overcast winter days that hid the beauty of both sea and sky. Brides who favor these shades of blue will be happy to discover this cool hue is especially popular for spring weddings. Horizon is an excellent choice for the bride who wants her wedding party to make her stand out, much like the fluffy white clouds traveling across a clear sky.

A water-loving bride will find her options as vast as the sea itself. To capture the drama of the ocean at night, the deep shades of Midnight or Marine are sure to delight. Perhaps mythical creatures of the deep are what have caught the imagination of the bride. A strapless chiffon gown with a ruched waist in Mermaid or Oasis will do the trick.

Fruit and Flowers

The vibrant colors of spring life in full bloom are also popular choices for bridesmaid dresses. With its deep jewel tones, a gown in the color Apple is the perfect choice for the bride wanting her bridesmaids to make a bold statement in this rich shade of red. An equally beautiful choice for the bride looking for the drama of a dark shade without the red would be a dark shade of pink known as Watermelon.

Perhaps you would like to have your bridesmaids dressed in something bright and lively to set the party atmosphere for your reception. Tangerine is the perfect shade of orange for any bride seeking a statement. Dressing your bridesmaids in a juicy shade of plum is sure to flatter any skin tone while still setting the mood.

If you desire the natural beauty of floral hues in more areas than just the bouquets, you will be happy to know that the full range of spring’s blooms is popular and available. Maybe you would like to highlight the greenery in your décor by dressing your bridesmaids in the muted shade of Clover. Whether the bridal party features blonds, brunettes, redheads or mixture of them all, this is one shade of green that will not fall flat.

If you are not a fan of green it is not much of a problem. In either Wild Orchid or Rose Petal pink, your bridesmaids will look like they have been freshly picked from the garden.

Pretty in Purple

Fans of purple will be pleased to discover that it is one of the hottest colors for the spring season. It does not matter which shades you prefer because all of them are considered trendy. Light or dark, deep or bright, you can take your pick.

For instance, if the bride wants a bright hue of this very royal color, Regency is a perfect choice. On the other hand, Lilac is a natural choice for anyone looking for just the faintest hint of color.

Natural Browns

Of course, not every bride wants her bridesmaids to feature all the colors of the rainbow. Again, if this is the case, there are many other options. Finding the perfect color for their dresses may be as easy as looking at your favorite morning drink.

That’s right, coffee shades are all the rage this spring. Creamy Latte is a great choice for the bride looking for just a hint of warmth to her bridal party attire while Espresso colored-dresses are every bit as deep and rich as the drink. Are you having difficulty choosing between these two great shades? Why not meet in the middle and compromise on Truffle? Though it may not be a kind of coffee, Truffle is a creamy shade of brown with just enough depth and warmth to compliment any wedding.

Neutral Favorites

If something even more neutral is what you crave, perhaps dresses in Champagne or Ivory will fit the bill. Gold and silver may typically be thought of as accent colors, but either can hold their own quite nicely. Are you looking for a bolder and more dramatic selection for your bridesmaid dresses? A bridal party dressed in either black or white makes it clear that you do not bend to the old wedding traditions. No matter what colors you end up selecting, the most important thing to remember is that there are enough bridesmaid dress styles in every color to make sure your bridesmaids look amazing for your spring wedding.

Shopping For Your Maternity Wedding Dress For the average bride, shopping for the perfect wedding dress can be overwhelming and challenging. But if that bride also happens to be pregnant, it can be a very emotional experience as well. Most brides-to-be don’t fantasize of white doves, candied almonds, and a protruding baby belly sticking out from under their fantasy dream dress.

Well, if you’re an expectant bride, the most important thing you can do for yourself is accept it, embrace it and flaunt it! Being in love and being pregnant and being a bride are all wonderful roles for a woman and if she happens to be playing all of those roles at once, then she should be admired and celebrated for doing it with such style and confidence!

Before you head out that door or click on the buy buttons online, here are few suggestions for picking the right maternity wedding dress. Buy maternity, not a regular dress that’s four sizes larger than you are now because your plans to alter it will fail as altering a dress four sizes means completely remaking the dress.

Like all brides, you’ll need a final fitting or two, but only for nips and tucks, not for a total redesign. Again, purchase a maternity wedding dress rather than a non-maternity one. Note that designers vary in sizing and most online maternity wedding dress shops offer special sizing charts for each designer so that you will know what size to order. If you’re going to have your ceremony in the during the final weeks of your pregnancy, order one size larger because by that time, you’re going to need the extra room and its easier to take a dress in than it is to let one out. If you have questions, ask them. Email or phone the customer service department and be sure to get your answers regarding sizing, styles, fabrics, etc.

Lastly, allow at least 6 to 8 weeks for your maternity wedding dress to arrive. Don’t wait until the last minute because you’re waiting to see how big you’ll be. Remember that maternity wedding dress designers know that you are pregnant and make allowances for that. This is your special day and you are a special bride. Don’t sweat the small stuff. You’ve got bigger fish to fry. Good luck with your pregnancy, your wedding and your wonderful new life!
